MySpace as a channel of blessing?

I would encourage all believers to make sure they start using services such as www.myspace.com to fellowship with the saints around the globe.
One of the ‘secrets‘ of God‘s timing was that He chose to reveal Jesus to the World when the Roman Empire and the commercial Greek language served to facilitate the spread of the Message.
The result was that the ancient world was ignited with a passion for Jesus.
Now we can reach each other through the ‘empire‘ of the Internet.  We may not all speak the same language, but there are thousands of tools ready to serve the kingdom to help us support and encourage one another on a daily basis, as well as helping us learn from and pray for one another - almost instantly.
Sometimes churches can be a little slow to catch up with the world.  Jesus said we should be as shrewd as the world - whilst maintaining our innocence.  I think it‘s time for us to wake-up, to rise and shine!  The time has come to ‘shout the message from the rooftops‘ - or at least from every monitor!!!
Over the coming months we are planning, by the grace of God, to start harnessing these technologies to serve the kingdom.
We‘ll keep you posted.
BUT we think there must be hundreds of believers who are already doing this, and if you‘d like to help us move forwards, we‘d be very grateful.

A little testimony...
A lovely event happened yesterday to wake-me up to the value of these opportunities on the internet.  Through a Christian band‘s site on MySpace, I connected and made friends with a pastoral team in Canada.  It seemed totally natural and led to a profound sense of blessing and being in the centre of God‘s will.  Let‘s go and be a blessing!
