The above graphic is a little ‘love test‘ for you to think about how you are matching up to the Apostle Paul‘s beautiful description of the qualities of Divine Love. Just circle your rating on the scale from -3 to +3 on each range.

I have found myself getting cross and irritated far too easily lately, so I have begun to meditate a little more on the God-kind-of-Love.  Part of this meditation led me to think about the opposites to Paul‘s qualities.  I found this very helpful as a provocation to stir myself up to get "loved up" so that I can manifest more of Jesus‘ Nature to others.

If you use the quiz as an excuse to beat yourself up (Christians can be good at that can‘t they?) you will have missed the point.  The point is simply to recognise the need to have more love manifest in your life.

So, if we need to "top up" any of these qualities, this is a call to spend more time practising the presence of God.  Worship, prayer, biblical meditation, fellowship with the saints - all these can help with the topping up process.
